Fall In Love With Life
Are you in love with the life you’re living today?
If you’re not in love with the life you’re living, right now, in this very moment, then why are you doing whatever it is you’re doing? You will probably come up with some standard answers, like:
Because I need the money.
Because someone has to be the responsible one in this relationship, so I guess that’s gotta be me.
Because it’s all I’ve ever done and I can’t imagine anything else at this point in my life.
Because it’s too late to start over.
Because everyone expects me to (fill in the blank) so I have to keep doing it.
Because it would be irresponsible to leave the job/relationship/house right now.
Really? Are you sure about that?
Hey, I get it. I used to think that way, too. Our culture validates hard work and dedication even when we no longer feel fulfilled. It’s not easy to even find someone who dares to challenge the status quo.
But the truth is, you can start over at ANY TIME IN YOUR LIFE! You can make the choice, right here and now, to DO something completely different. You can choose, right here and now, to BE someone different.
When you make a daring decision like this, you are validating the fact that we live in a universe that is constantly expanding, and we ourselves are part of that expansion!
In other words, the universe (or God or source or divine intelligence or your higher self) wants you to shed the old and reach for something new!
You weren’t designed to be the same person throughout your entire life. We expect our physical bodies to change over time, but we often don’t give our true authentic selves the same permission.
We get tired. We get lazy. We live an auto-pilot life that is destined for nowhere because we haven’t adjusted our internal GPS to point toward something bigger, better, more fulfilling. Or smaller and more intimate and more fulfilling.
You are the creator of your life. You are the architect. Are you building toward a future you’re passionate about? If not, I invite you to take some time by yourself, whether in meditation or on a walk, look within, and ask some questions.
Who am I now? Who do I want to be? What brings me joy? What makes me laugh out loud or burst with gratitude?
These are the questions that will bring you closer to your current authentic self. These are the questions I asked myself when I decided I was worthy of doing what I wanted to do.
I found the training I needed to become a life coach when I was in my 50’s. That led me to finding breathwork and becoming a certified facilitator. I started over. I sucked at it for a while. And I kept going.
If you need help on this journey, I’d love to support you. You might be the perfect fit for my new program, Fabulous 50’s and Beyond. I have room for a couple more women to take advantage of this program while it's still half price. Email me at truenorthalc@gmail.com to sign up or ask any questions you might have.
You can and should do everything in your power to make this life a joy ride! Let’s work together to get you there.
